Grandmother’s Special Soup (English Story)

My father always tells stories when I eat my dinner. These stories are mostly about my grandmother. This week my father told stories three times, because he was very busy. In his workplace, he cooks soups and pours to bowls. After he pours soups to bowls, he puts them in the fridge. But this fridge is not an ordinary fridge, it is a huge fridge.

Last night he told me a story again. While he was telling me the story, he poured tomato soup to my little bowl. He told me that my grandmother was cooking soups for everybody. Her soup was very popular. People always take their bowls to her and she pours soups to their bowls. Then they put their poured soups to the fridge. Because her soups are cold soups. So everybody put these soups to their fridge. One day my grandmother poured her special soup to a very big bowl and my father put it in the fridge. After a while, when he opened the fridge, the soup in the big bowl poured to the floor. Everybody heard this story and they laughed firstly. But after that it became a tradition and everyone put bowl of soups to their fridges then pour it to the floor in the 4th of September.

When I hear that story, I really laughed a lot. Because it is a very interesting tradition. I think I will not pour a bowl of soup from the fridge. Because my mother will kill me. Pouring the soup on the floor from fridge is very interesting for me.

Last year while my big sister is pouring the soup from the fridge, my mother saw it and got angry to her. Beacuse soups are not for pouring.

Büyükannenin Özel Çorbası (İngilizce Hikaye)

Ben akşam yemeğimi yerken babam her zaman hikaye anlatır. Bu hikayeler çoğu zaman büyükannem ile alakalı olur. Bu hafta babam üç defa hikaye anlattı, çünkü çok meşguldü. Onun çalıştığı yerde, çorba yapar ve kaselere döker. Çorbaları kaselere döktükten sonra onları buzdolabına koyar. Fakat bu buzdolabı sıradan bir buzdolabı değil, çok büyük bir buzdolabı.

Dün gece bana yine bir hikaye anlattı. Bana hikayeyi anlatırken, küçük kaseme domates çorbası doldurdu. Bana dedi ki, büyük annem herkes için çorba yaparmış. Onun çorbaları çok popülermiş. İnsanlar her zaman kaselerini ona götürürmüş ve o da kaselerine çorba doldururmuş. Sonra onlar kaselerine doldurulmuş çorbaları buzdolabına koyarlarmış. Bir gün büyükannem özel çorbasını çok büyük bir kaseye boşaltmış ve babam da onu buzdolabına koymuş. Bir süre sonra buzdolabını açtığında büyük kasedeki çorba yere dökülmüş. Bu hikayeyi herkes duymuş ve önce gülmüş. Fakat sonra bu bir adet haline gelmiş ve herkes kaseyle çorbalarını dolaba koyarmış ve 4 Eylülde yere dökermiş.

Bu hikayeyi duyduğumda gerçekten çok güldüm. Çünkü çok ilglinç bir gelenek. Galiba ben bir kase çorbayı yere dökmem. Çünkü annem beni öldürür. Çorbayı buzdolabından yere dökmek çok enteresan benim için.

Geçen sene ablam buzdolabından çorbayı yere dökerken, annem gördü ve ona sinirlendi. Çünkü çorbalar dökülmek için değildir.
